History & Character

The Bull Inn is a historic 16th-century coaching inn located in the center of Woodbridge overlooking Market Hill with the Elizabethan Shire Hall and St Mary's Church. The current building stands on the site of an older hostelry of the same name and dates from the days of stagecoaches running from London to Great Yarmouth. Original timber-frame parts, possibly from the 15th century, are visible around the bar.
